Each exhibition hall at the Shanghai New International Expo Center has a scale of 70m × 185m and an area of 11547 square meters. The exhibition halls are all one story column free structures. By 2013, SNIEC had 11 column free exhibition halls with an area of 126500 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 100000 square meters. The comprehensive expansion plan of SNIEC was completed in 2010, with an indoor area of 200000 square meters and an outdoor area of 130000 square meters. After completion, it will have 17 exhibition halls, three entrance halls, and a tower. According to market demand, another tower will be built, including a hotel, office, and conference center. In 2013, it was a phase one project with a total investment of 99 million US dollars. There were four exhibition halls and one entrance hall, with an exhibition area of 45000 square meters indoors and 20000 square meters outdoors. The ground bearing capacity was 30kN/square meter, and the static height was 11-17 meters. Each exhibition hall was equipped with 8 doors, measuring 5.3 meters by 4.1 meters. The exhibition hall is equipped with flexible separation, truck entrance, floor unloading, equipment, office, canteen, restaurant and Flat noodles warehouse.
