Beilun is located at the easternmost point of land in Zhejiang Province, with geographical coordinates ranging from 29 ° 44 ′ N to 30 ° 00 ′ N and 121 ° 38 ′ 45 ″ E to 121 ° 10 ′ 23 ″ E. The area is rectangular in shape, sloping from northwest to southeast, with a length of 52 kilometers from east to west (the longest at both ends) and a width of 29 kilometers from north to south (the widest at both ends). The total length of the coastline is about 171.2 kilometers (including 21 kilometers of the coastline around Daxie Island).
